چکیده
Abstract Background Hemiplegic cerebral palsy (CP) enormously affects the quadriceps and hamstring muscles. It causes weakness in affected lower-extremity muscles addition to muscle imbalance inadequate power production, especially ankle plantar-flexor knee extensor also anomalous delayed myoelectrical action of medial hamstring. A whole-body vibration (WBV) exercise can diminish spasticity improve walking speed, strength, gross motor function without causing unfavorable impacts adults suffering from CP. Thus, aim this study is investigate WBV training associated with conventional physical therapy on endurance, children hemiparetic Results The post-intervention values force, were significantly higher than pre-intervention for both groups ( p = 0.001). group control (quadriceps 0.015; 0.030; 0.025; power, 0.014). Conclusion 8 weeks that was added traditional more successful improving CP when compared alone.

Objectives: The present study examined the effect of home-based handling training of mothers on the improvement of gross motor function of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP). Methods: In this randomized control trial, 42 children with CP (5-12 years old) were randomly assigned into the intervention and control groups. Data were collected using the Gross Motor Function Classification System and ...
متن کاملAcute effects of whole-body vibration on muscle activity, strength, and power.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a single bout of whole-body vibration on isometric squat (IS) and countermovement jump (CMJ) performance. Nine moderately resistance-trained men were tested for peak force (PF) during the IS and jump height (JH) and peak power (PP) during the CMJ. Average integrated electromyography (IEMG) was measured from the vastus medialis, vastus ...
